Change is Perfection

To improve is to change, to be perfect is to change often

We all have heard one saying,’ Change is the only constant’. We live in a world that is constantly changing and evolving. What you see around is different every second.

So, what does this suggest?

To keep pace with this ever-changing world, we also have to evolve continuously.

The above quote puts this idea together really beautifully. But have you ever noticed, when you talk about changing, some people get very defensive and take it personally? Somewhere we all have a misconception that change is required only when the person is not good enough. For many others, change is an inconvenient and uncomfortable option. Therefore, they tend to avoid it as far as possible. Most of us don’t even understand why changing and evolving is crucial. Many of the problems that we see around us are attributed to this problem. This problem is visible in places that have had a cultural history. Many practices followed in these places have lost their purpose and for many practices, we are unaware of the purpose, but they are still being followed.

For example, in India, we have a practice of throwing coins in the river and making a wish. The real reason behind this practice was the purification of water. In earlier days coins were made of copper, which is known to be a water purifier. In a way, we’re giving something to nature and as said in https://digurself.wordpress.com/2020/09/23/give-to-get/, we would receive a positive response from the universe. Throwing them in the water is just wasting money.

This is just one of the examples that show how by not changing, our actions become irrelevant to the requirement of the situation, and what follows then is a downfall that will force you to change.

The above example was a general one, but a similar mindset and approach are witnessed in personal life as well which leads to personal problems and makes life stagnant. It is well said, a perfect person is one who changes often.

    1. I can totally understand, in fact i feel the same way too and i think it is fine. Evolution is a very personal thing that depends upon the demand of one’s situation. People evolve in different ways. What matters ultimately is that you are a better version of what you were yesterday. Take care
