“Vision is the ability to see potential in what others overlook” – Rick Warren
We all love ourselves and want the best for us. Most of us work hard. But when success comes easily to other people, we wonder what went wrong. Then we start blaming everything around us to justify our anger.
But, why is it that some people see opportunities more clearly than other people? What makes them different from others? When we get to a point where these questions become very prominent, we understand the importance of ‘vision’ in life.
Vision is your sight of how you will fit in the future. All your wants, expectations, and goals define your vision. Knowing with clarity, what you want to be a few years from now, defines your vision.
Why is it important to have a vision?
What we think about, is what we attract in the universe. We all want to be successful but lack clarity in what kind of success we want. What is it that we want to do for society and how do we want to be recognized in society? As a result, when the universe offers us the opportunity, to fulfill our deep desires, we fail to recognize them. A person who has a clear vision is always thinking about his goals, as a result, his eyes with instantly recognize the path that will lead him to his goals.
It is not that the universe is not listening to you. You are ignorant of what you really ask for it. Often you would hear people saying that they want something, but also feel life has always been difficult on them, therefore, they will have to face many problems to achieve their goals. With these thoughts, they actually invite problems. The universe cannot differentiate between real desires and taunts. It gives shape to your thoughts. Positive thoughts shape opportunities and negative thoughts shape problems. It processes every thought we have.
Next time be careful while talking to yourself, the universe is overhearing you.
