Mindset- Action- Success

“ Nothing is impossible, The word itself says, I m possible” – Audrey Hepburn

We have often heard a saying, Hard work is the key to success’. All my school life I worked very hard and honestly, it did work well for me. But the last two years of my life changed my approach towards hard work. I was preparing for engineering entrance exams. I had put in a lot of effort but could not see any considerable growth in my results. It was the other way. Every little effort seemed very stressful for me. Soon I realized my passion for architecture. I cleared my entrance exams and got admission in a good college. Every design project required a lot of effort and sleepless nights one’s part. But this time I did not feel a thing. The efforts I put into architecture did not feel stressful at all. This was mainly because I knew why I was putting in so much effort- my destination and I also loved the process. I had a vision that motivated me.

This is how I learned an important lesson in life- hard work works in a better way when it is guided by a vision. Success comes automatically when your mindset and actions are aligned. If you focus your energy on aligning your thought process and mindset according to your wants by reading books and choosing the right crowd, your actions will automatically get aligned accordingly and will not seem stressful. Moreover, the road towards success will be fun.

  1. Just today I was reading a book in which the author said it all comes down to for what you are willing to through that struggle for, for which purpose you are willing to spend those sleepless nights. And if you find that purpose all the struggle and hard work becomes worth it.
I am so glad you found your purpose.❤
    All the best.

  3. Sruti, I believe hard work is important for success, but I believe that doing work that you enjoy is the key to even greater success, as well as the key to personal fulfillment and happiness. I wish you all the best in your chosen career! You are lucky you figured out what you want to do at this stage of your life before you invested years of effort and a lot of money into a career that will not make you happy! Cheryl
